Nominations Info Session for the GP NOW 2021 Board

To encourage clear information & engagement our GP NOW Communications Lead & Election Chair will be hosting an open Zoom to clarify these topics on Sunday, 11/22 at 5pm over Zoom.

This is primarily aimed at prospective candidates as well as voting members with questions.
There are quite a few things to know, so let’s promote clarity! As a follow up, key information will be shared here, as well as provided to our current membership info per our bylaws.

Date of Election:  Sunday, Dec. 13th via Zoom.

Please let us know by Nov. 30th that you would like to run for a specific position. Once you have declared your nomination your membership status will be checked. When your membership is confirmed you will be notified that you are a candidate for the position.   Open positions are: Chaor, Vice Chair, Secretary & Treasurer, with 5 At-Large Board positions


  • How to run: 
    1. Send an email to greaterportlandnow@gmail.com ( ideally with SUBJECT line Candidate: GP NOW 2021 Board ) stating your willingness to run for a specific position for the 2021 Board, BY NOV. 30th and ideally include:
      1. A short bio
      2. Why you want to run
      3. What you bring to the table/experience
      4. Anything else that is pertinent to your campaign
      5. This can be a flyer if desired. See the PINK example below. Maximum 1 page in length
