With all the protests happening now and the clear need for allies to get our shit together, the PDX book club is a great way to maintain your commitment to anti-racism work. So far we have blended fiction, race theory and non-fiction and it’s been amazing with a specific goal of white Portlander’s continuing their work and open to all. Work through a reading list that will supporting your journey of understanding of race dynamics, white supremacy and allyship. Celebrate and enjoy the amazing cannons of Black and Brown authorship. Have a little support and encouragement to keep up that work, commit to reading and hold yourself accountable to get it done and process what you are reading with the PDX book club.
